Innovations by NEC
Corporation - new microwave hardware called PASOLINK NEO for building
digital microwave links and networks. The new high-technology hardware is
much more advanced than old Pasolink
v.4, Pasolink Plus,
Pasolink MX series. Modem could be configured as full-featured PDH system as well
as SDH system up to 2xSTM-1 (with optional XPIC-function). With highly efficient
modulation schemes the system's speed was increased up to
155 Mbps without increasing the frequency range. System has a lot of optional interface cards, that can be
used for adjusting the system for a current customer's need.
Telecommunications market is going to full convergency of
different services. The main factor of convergency is the common
protocol. Using the IP protocol, iDirect systems can provide
better channel (up to 10-50 %) if you will compare it with not-so-efficient DVB MPEG incapsulation scheme.
Highspeed hardware with
MF-TDMA and
